Majlis Ansarullah UK Waqfe’Arzi Mission in Costa Rica
By the Grace of Allah, the pioneering Waqfe’Arzi delegation of Majlis Ansarullah UK, currently serving in Costa Rica, has had the blessed honour of meeting the Chancellor of Costa Rica His excellency Arnoldo André Tinoco is the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship.
During this meeting, the delegation presented:
📜 A special signed letter from Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (may Allah be his helper) addressed to the President of Costa Rica
📖 A signed copy of the Holy Qur’an from Huzur (aba)
🏅 A Certificate of Appreciation from Majlis Ansarullah UK
The Chancellor was deeply moved by the sentiments expressed in the letter and the gesture of goodwill from the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. He expressed his appreciation for the humanitarian and peace-promoting efforts of Majlis Ansarullah UK.
In a special gesture of friendship, the Chancellor also agreed to record a message for our media outlets, Alhamdulillah — marking a truly historic first for the community’s mission in Central America.
🌍 Background
Earlier this week, the delegation embarked on a Waqfe’Arzi journey to Costa Rica — a country being visited for the first time by Majlis Ansarullah UK as part of its global outreach to spread the peaceful message of Islam Ahmadiyyat.
Following a blessed Mulaqaat with Huzur (aba) before departure, the twelve-member team travelled via Canada to San José, where they were welcomed by Murabbi Silsila Marwan Gill Sahib (from Argentina) and Murabbi Silsila Arif Daud Sahib (posted in Costa Rica).
Since arrival, the team has actively engaged in tabligh, including large-scale leafleting, public stalls, and meetings with government officials, introducing the true message of Islam to thousands across Costa Rica.

This meeting with the Chancellor of Costa Rica stands as a beacon of progress in the Community’s mission to foster mutual understanding, dialogue, and friendship between nations.
